DESCRIPTION:The 7th World Parkinson Congress (WPC) is coming to Phoenix\, AZ\, May 24–27\, 2026\, and we need passionate massage therapists and Reiki practitioners—like you—to help staff the Massage and Reiki Room for this extraordinary global gathering. \n\n\n\nAs someone whose father passed away from Parkinson’s disease\, this event is incredibly close to my heart. I know firsthand how much relief even 20 minutes of compassionate\, focused touch can bring to someone battling this disease. That’s why I’m helping organize this effort—because this work matters. \n\n\n\nThe WPC is unlike any other conference. It brings together over 4\,000 people from across the globe\, including world-renowned neurologists\, researchers\, clinicians\, caregivers—and most importantly—people living with Parkinson’s disease. They don’t just attend; they participate\, lead\, and inspire. \n\n\n\nMassage and Reiki play a vital role in wellness for those with Parkinson’s. From easing tremors\, muscle rigidity\, and fatigue to soothing anxiety and fostering connection\, our work helps people feel seen\, supported\, and empowered. \n\n\n\nSign-up to volunteer here: WPC 2026 Massage and Reiki Volunteer Team: World Parkinson Congress 2026 – Complimentary Massage\, Chair Massage & Reiki Volunteers \n\n\n\nHere’s what you need to know:\n\n\n\n\nWhat: Volunteer your time to provide 20-minute massage or Reiki sessions to WPC delegates.\n\n\n\nWhen: May 25–27\, 2026 (Flexible shifts—volunteer for a few hours or several days).\n\n\n\nWho: Licensed Massage Therapists and massage students nearing graduation are welcome.\n\n\n\nPerks: Lunch is provided\, networking with an international community\, and those volunteering all three days are invited to attend inspiring morning plenary sessions.\n\n\n\nImpact: Meet and support over 1\,000 people living with Parkinson’s\, plus their families\, doctors\, and advocates.
