DESCRIPTION:Course Description: This PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) one day seminar will teach you some safe and easy to use tools\, for when problem areas arise that cannot be solved with massage alone. You will be able to help your clients prevent soreness and injuries\, while improving performance and blood flow.  Students will learn how to combine PNF techniques with their current knowledge of friction\, to release fibrotic tissue.  Students will learn when to stretch and when to strengthen. Students will also learn the difference between PNF and some other types of facilitated stretching such as Active Isolated Stretching\, Muscle Energy Technique\, and Reciprocal Inhibition.   \n\n\n\nRequired Class Materials: Students need to bring a set of sheets and wear or bring comfortable clothing for the practical portion of class.  \n\n\n\nCE Hours: 8 CE hours with NCBTMB (PNF Modalities Course ID: 70085612) with attendance and satisfactory participation in the class activities.   \n\n\n\nDate/Time: Saturday\, October 5th\, 2024: 9am-6PM (Lunch 12-1pm on your own) at ASMMW Peoria \n\n\n\nTuition investment: $175.00.
