SUMMARY:PNMT Cervical Spine-Tucson-16 CEs
DESCRIPTION:In a recent study\, the likelihood of someone experiencing neck pain in a given year is about 23%. In other words\, about 1 in 4 people will have a bout of neck pain this year\, with the incidence rate being much higher in people who work in an office at a computer. These numbers translate to the massage table; neck pain will account for many of the visits to massage therapists this year. \n\n\n\nThe reality is\, neck pain is complex. Releasing the suboccipitals can be wonderful in certain circumstances\, disastrous in others. There is no routine that works for all the different iterations of possible neck issues. In PNMT Cervical Spine\, we don’t teach routines\, we focus in reasoning and problem solving. That takes time and expert guidance from the instructor. There is NO substitute for hands-on experience and the guidance of a mentor\, especially in an area so small and complex as the neck. \n\n\n\nRegister with this link: https://www.pnmt.org/event-details/cervical-spine-two-day-in-tucson-arizona-16-ncbtmb-ces

SUMMARY:PNMT Form and Function 16CE
DESCRIPTION:PNMT Form and Function is about the decisions a therapist makes and what strategies are behind those decisions. All experienced therapists have a large toolbox filled with treatment options. By what process do you decide which ones to use and when? These are not easy questions. \n\n\n\nStructural assessment is important\, but must be done with speed and accuracy. Moreover\, how can you know that the structural asymmetry is related to the client’s presenting symptom? By integrating functional assessment as well\, this seminar can help you design protocols that create measurable and immediate results for the client. The goal is to treat the right muscle for the right reason; the wisdom is in the choosing. \n\n\n\nReister Here: https://www.pnmt.org/event-details/form-and-function-two-day-in-phoenix-arizona-ncbtmb-16-ces

SUMMARY:PNMT for the Leg and Foot
DESCRIPTION:PNMT for the Leg and Foot – 8 NCBTMB CEs $230 early bird\, $250 normal \n\n\n\nThis seminar is essentially the second half of the Lower Extremity seminar. In it\, the participant will first explore pain conditions of the knee. There are many soft-tissue conditions that create medial and lateral knee pain\, all of them related to different muscles and ligaments. Some of the soft-tissue symptoms overlap with more serious intra-joint ligamentous issues. Participants will learn how to make good judgments as to the source of the pain and how to address it effectively. In the lower leg\, conditions affecting the anterior and posterior shin splints\, calf pain\, and pain syndromes of the feet (such as plantar fasciitis) will be explored. The participant will leave with clear clinical reasoning skills to determine the source of a client’s pain and the technical skills to positively affect that pain.   \n\n\n\nEveryone can register through. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:PNMT for the Hip and Thigh
DESCRIPTION:PNMT for the Hip and Thigh – 8 NCBTMB CEs $230 early bird\, $250 normal \n\n\n\nThe vital role of the hip as a source of pain and its role in healthy movement is often overlooked. Issues of the hip may present local pain but can also greatly effect areas both above and below. For instance\, restrictions in the hip demand that the low back compensate\, leading to low back pain. Treatment of the low back (where the symptoms present) will be frustratingly unsuccessful. It is common to have hip pain where no visible pathology is discovered\, precise soft tissue approaches can be amazingly effective. The focus of this seminar is on accurate assessment strategies and effective treatment techniques to help you treat the right structure for the right reason. We don’t just teach you how\, we teach you why! \n\n\n\nEveryone can register through www.pnmt.org/seminar-schedule. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

This takes both knowledge and time\, something that makes Precision Neuromuscular Therapy an ideal intervention. Who better to treat people with hand and arm pain than those of us who use our hands as our primary instrument? If anyone should have a vast and deep knowledge of this area\, it should be us! We welcome you to attend the PNMT Hand and Arm seminar\, one of the most practical seminars you may ever attend. Moving away from recipes and routines\, PNMT will drastically increase your problem solving skills\, moving from technician to clinical artistry and mastery. \n\n\n\nEveryone can register through. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:PNMT for the Shoulder
DESCRIPTION:PNMT for the Shoulder – 8 NCBTMB CEs $230 early bird\, $250 normal \n\n\n\nPNMT for the Shoulder is our most popular one day seminar because the prevalence of shoulder problems is so high. We begin the seminar with assessment and treatment of the complex relationships of the muscles that affect movement of the scapula. Attaining full scapular motion is crucial to attaining full range of motion of the humerus. Participants will also learn to measure and treat movement restrictions of the humerus using various testing and assessment techniques. \n\n\n\nEveryone can register through. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
