Before You Book
Please review our policies before scheduling.
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you and is part of our students’ required clinical education. When appointments are cancelled at the last minute or missed entirely, students lose valuable clinical experience that cannot always be replaced.
Our Student Clinic Policy
• All Student Clinic appointments are non-refundable.
• Appointments may be rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability within the same student class.
• Appointments cancelled or changed with less than 24 hours’ notice and no-shows cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
• If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send a friend or family member in your place.
Thank you for supporting our students and helping us continue providing affordable massage therapy to our community.
What Makes Our Student Clinic Different?
We are a medical massage school, not a spa.
While relaxation is certainly a benefit, our students are trained to think beyond providing a relaxing massage. They learn to assess movement, posture, pain patterns, and tissue dysfunction in an effort to help identify the underlying causes of discomfort.
You may experience:
• Assessment questions before treatment
• Different positioning than you’ve experienced before
• Specialized techniques
• Clinical reasoning throughout the session
• Instructor guidance during treatment
Our goal is to help students become solution providers, not simply service providers.
Is Our Clinic Right for You?
Our ideal clients are people who:
• Want affordable massage therapy
• Are experiencing pain or movement restrictions
• Enjoy helping students learn
• Understand this is a teaching environment
• Are patient while instructors coach students
• Provide kind, honest feedback that helps students improve
What to Expect
Our Student Clinic is an educational environment.
Treatment areas are separated by privacy curtains. Curtains remain closed while dressing and undressing and open during treatment so instructors can supervise students, answer questions, and ensure quality learning and client safety.
Although this is not a spa setting, every effort is made to provide a professional, respectful, and comfortable experience.
Regional Massage
Students begin their clinical training by focusing on one region of the body at a time.
For example, during the Head Region, students may address concerns such as:
• TMJ
• Migraine headaches
• Bell’s Palsy
If no specific concern exists, students generally spend approximately 10–15 minutes on the featured region before completing the remainder of the session based on your preferences.
As students advance through the program, clinics expand into specialty modalities and eventually full customized massage sessions.
