Celebrating Our Graduates and the Community That Supports Them
Graduation is one of our favorite days of the year at the Arizona School of Medical Massage & Wellness. It is a chance to celebrate months of hard work, dedication, growth, and perseverance as our students begin the next chapter of their professional careers.
As we looked around the room this year, seeing nearly 100 graduates, family members, friends, instructors, and supporters gathered together, we were reminded that this celebration is made possible not only through the work of our staff and volunteers, but also through the generosity of our amazing student clinic clients.
Many people don’t realize that the tips left after student clinic appointments don’t go into anyone’s pocket. Instead, every dollar is reinvested into creating memorable experiences and educational opportunities for our students.
This year’s graduation celebration was a perfect example.
Because of the generosity of our clinic clients, we were able to provide a beautiful evening that included:
- A wonderful venue at Hillcrest Golf Club Ballroom
- Delicious catering from Famous Dave’s
- Live entertainment by the Lizzie Moon Band
- Beautiful decorations throughout the ballroom
- A professional microphone and sound system for heartfelt graduation speeches
- Extra beverages and special meal options for our vegan graduates and guests
- Custom Diplomas and diploma holders
- Satin Stoles screen printed with ASMMW Class of 2026 for each student
- Professional photography by Kirri Lingenfelter Photography to capture memories that will last a lifetime
- Personalized graduate coffee mugs, beautifully created by Patricia Kloog, giving each graduate a keepsake to remember this milestone
Watching our graduates celebrate with their instructors, classmates, family, and friends was incredibly rewarding. There were tears during speeches, laughter throughout the evening, dancing to live music, and countless hugs as students reflected on how far they had come.
These moments matter.
Our students spend hundreds of hours learning anatomy, assessment, clinical reasoning, professionalism, communication, ethics, and hands-on skills. Graduation is more than receiving a diploma. It is recognizing the commitment, sacrifice, and determination it took to get there.
