Joel brings 30 years of massage experience to the classroom.

He attended San Diego State University and IPSB Massage College, graduating with an emphasis in Asian Healing Arts.

He has taught at resort spas, massage schools and private seminars throughout the country. He was a faculty member at IPSB Massage College, SWIHA, Central Arizona College and ICOHS Massage College.

He teaches classes in the Thai Healing Arts (Table Thai, Traditional Thai, Thai Foot Massage, Herbal Poultice), Asian Healing Arts (Tui Na/Gua Sha, Jin Shin, Reiki and Shiatsu) as well as cupping, warm stone and chair massage.

He has worked at The Phoenician, The Montelucia, Caesars Palace and The Hotel del Coronado.

He currently lives in San Diego, where he maintains a private practice that includes Table Thai Massage, Chair Massage, Reiki and therapeutic/relaxing massage. He works at Civana Wellness Resort and The Montage Laguna Beach and is on the faculty at Pacific College of Health and Sciences.
