Integrated Manual Therapy and Orthopedic Massage Five Day Intensive-40CE
Advanced and extensive hands-on training for the entire body, addressing sports massage, sports medicine, and orthopedic massage. They cover 30% more advanced information than the upper/lower body seminars combined, including releasing the superficial fascial front line, posturology, and the ability to tie the entire body together to sort out complicated pain patterns. You will learn sports injury prevention, and how to align your work with sports medicine specialists. All conditions listed for the upper and lower body will be covered in more detail, with more emphasis on structural integration and the ability to see how one area of the body can cause compensation patterns throughout the body. We will look in greater detail at things like upper cross syndrome, lower cross syndrome, ascending pain patterns, descending pain patterns, biomechanics, spinal biomechanics, and myoskeletal alignment. 40 CEU’s are awarded upon completion of this seminar.

Many of the participants from all the weekend seminars at those schools end up taking the 5 day to get certified. So if they have taken 3 different weekend seminars in the past 3 years at any location, and take the 5 day in January they can take the exam.

James Waslaski integrates over 30 plus years of expertise in manual therapy to teach over 45 live seminars per year all over the world. He is a published author, and renowned international lecturer, teaching Chiropractors, Athletic Trainers, Osteopaths, Physical Therapists, Physiotherapists, Physicians, Certified Personal Trainers and Massage Therapists how to integrate their techniques to increase client outcomes. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. James is an approved NCBTMB Provider. His textbook, Clinical Massage Therapy: A Structural Approach to Pain Management, was published by Pearson Publishing in 2011. He presents at state, national and international Chiropractic, Osteopathic, Athletic Training and Massage Therapy Conferences on an annual basis. James received the FSMTA International Achievement Award in 1997. He was inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame in 2008.
