(TUCSON) Side-Lying Massage

Work smarter not harder by learning easy ways to access deep tissues. Shoulder girdle, pelvic girdle, low back, and more. This two-day workshop will teach massage therapists how to safely and effectively work with clients in a side-lying position. Students will learn how to comfortably position clients, drape them, and perform various massage techniques, including PNF stretches and trigger point therapy. The workshop will also cover contraindications, benefits, and current research on side-lying massage. The instructor is Marcella Arieta, and the workshop is approved for 14CE credits by the NCBTMB, Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners, and Arizona Board of Athletic Training.
