By building a knee out of clay from the bones outward, layer by layer, you develop tactile vision, the ability to recognize balance, restriction, and distortion through touch, not just knowledge.
This hands-on process bridges anatomy and clinical work, supporting clearer assessment and more precise technique.
The vital role of the hip as a source of pain and its role in healthy movement is often overlooked. Issues of the hip may present local pain but can also greatly effect areas both above and below. For instance, restrictions in the hip demand that the low back compensate, leading to low back pain.
This seminar is essentially the second half of the Lower Extremity seminar. In it, the participant will first explore pain conditions of the knee. There are many soft-tissue conditions that create medial and lateral knee pain, all of them related to different muscles and ligaments. Some of the soft-tissue symptoms overlap with more serious intra-joint ligamentous issues. Participants will learn how to make good judgments as to the source of the pain and how to address it effectively.
