Veronika, owner of IMPT, is a manual physical therapist with 24 years of experience. She received her undergraduate degree in exercise science from Eastern Michigan University and her master’s in physical therapy from Wayne State University in 1999. She practiced in Michigan for nearly six years before moving to Arizona in 2005.
She received her certification as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) in 2003, nutrition specialist certified in 2010 (NSC), certified neural manipulation practitioner (CNMP) in 2018, certified visceral techniques practitioner (CVTP) in 2022, and became an international Barral Institute Instructor for neural manipulation level one in 2022.
Veronika has extensive advanced training in the Barral osteopathic approach of visceral, vascular, neural, and manual articular manipulation.
Her patient care experience includes treating patients with complex chronic medical conditions as well as helping enhance performance of professional athletes. Veronika’s treatment approach is focused on manual therapy and neural, vascular, and visceral mobilization. She uses a holistic approach of integrating techniques to improve alignment, muscle flexibility, strength, neural mobility, posture and function. She helps train patients bodies for proper movement with proprioceptive neuro-muscular facilitation (PNF) and then reinforces it with home exercises on postural principles to help with function and health.
In addition to being a practitioner, Veronika has been an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern University and Franklin Pierce University. Veronika frequently lectures at professional conferences and in the community.
In her free time, Veronika enjoys hiking, trail running, cycling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and simply being in the great outdoors.
